when i try levels like chrono trigger and hellbeat, i cant do them at all. how can i get better so i can do these levels?

Quit FFR and try DWI/SM.
Play songs like Maxx, or play normal songs on like 3x until you get good at "reading" the steps. But yeah, there is no secret to FFR/DSI/DDR/SM, it's just practice at recognizing and reacting to patterns.Comment

Well, actually, with some songs like Beethoven Virus, I take a screenshot of the tough spots, and practice them over and over outside the game. Start slow, then speed up, then try the song again. It generally works. That's kind of like what I do when I practice the piano, and it works with songs like this too. Give it a try, some people like it, some don't.Comment
