Ok.

• Go to R2 (or SM, I don't care what you play), and look in Options/Keyboard Controls
• There are two keyboards, representing Player 1 and Player 2
• Notice that for Player 2, he/she uses WASD
• Now go into Play Mode, and do Versus Mode
• Player 1 uses the arrow keys, and Player 2 uses WASD

Now choose your song and go play. DONE AND DONE.
