    Two years.

Yesterday was my two year anniversary as a member of Flash Flash Revolution. I registered on the forum a few days later, apparently. Still, I was reflecting on the past FFR styles.

I remember the old, green format with bubbles. I remember the button that would bring you to a "noob faq" of sorts, which showed you how to play the game. Hell, I even remember the whole ordeal with "secret songs" hidden around random places in the game field.

So, my question is this. What parts from the old game would you want in the new (R1) versions? What parts are you glad are gone? And which version did you like better, the older or newer FFR?

Oh, no. Not the secret songs

I liked the fact there was a tutorial and that pwnd!! song was pretty cool (even though the steps weren't - but that's part of gimmick).

But overall, the newer one works better with the amount of songs we now have in the game. That's why I suggested it to Synth and he made the new version happen.

Maybe you could give him some gentle prodding...he hasn't been responding to my IMs lately.

Well..you can always ARCHIVE.ORG it to bring back old memories. I've been sitting here for a while going through old news and forum entries. They're great.

Find them all for the domain (www.xqsite.com) here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.xqsite.com
The FFR starts at about Nov 25, 2002.
        What?

Hey, that's pretty neat. Or, you could go to the downloads section. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been updated since, about, the green format....
