Spam Scrolling

Multiplayer has been going crazy for the last few minutes or so, with people repeatedly spamming the screen. -Even- inside the gameroom with someone else. One being a guest, and the other being Hickey. If anyone else sees anyone else doing it, post it here. It's really annoying. Plus, it's making my computer freeze and who knows what else it's doing to others.

Until we can find a solution, put a password on your game room, or set spectators to 0.

I'll do that, and I'd like to give a suggestion of a mute <person> feature, though I don't know if that's possible.

I was there, and i think one of the names was DDR masta or something like that. Not completely sure though.

EDIT: We could have Multiplayer mods, who can ban or temp ban multiplayer spammers.

this is why I don't like the multiplayer feature. That and I never find people better than me.

This is an EXCELLENT idea. Then everytime someone comes in and begins spamming, you can just ignore them. If you ban them, there are proxies and other ways to get back..causing and endless amount of spam. But with this, it's just one quick trigger, and you won't have any problems from that person again.

Deviljin5 and mythknight were just spamming so much in multiplayer it froze my computer. We really need mp mods.

Don't you just hate that? There should be a topic where we can post SS's of people doing this and admins can just ban them. Some of them will come back with proxies, but some will give up because it's too much work and some are just too dumb to do it.

i saw it today when i was talking to some1 all of a sudden my comp lags and it just froze up for like a half hour this needs to stop yesterday there was like a combo of 3 peoples doin it. that is all.

Yea, i had that problem with a guest the other day while i was playing a game with someone else. While we were in the middle of a song, the guest came in and started spamming, it makes the arrows jump.
We just set spectators to 0. Guss it is bound to happen due to the some of the idiots on the internet. Kind of sucks though. Wish there was something that could be done about it. Is there anything that can be put in to automatically ban someone if they have more than a certain amount of posts in a row, or if they post the same thing over and over. I am guessing not, would be good though as an alternative to having mods so they wouldn't have to use their time for something so menial.

EDIT: Had another thought when i was in MP last night and some people were spamming. Maybe if there was a thread or something where we could record a list of people who were spamming with times and dates, if an individual was recorded to be spamming regularly or on multiple occasions, they could be banned from FFR for an ammount of time or something.
Not sure how well this would work, and i'm guessing it wouldn't work agains guest spammers. But might help a bit...
