I know a lot of people are complaining about lag, I was wondering if the new flash player will resolve that issue. I know that flash player 8 is coming out soon (nobody yet knows when as far as im aware) and one of the big features is the ability to draw frames much much faster. Could this help the lag problem on low end computers? Just a thought.

I don't know much about flash or lag and all that kind of stuff, but obviously the next flash player will improve things. To help a little, you can click the Q in the upper left hand corner of the main menu. That usually helps

Flash Player 8 will help, but we'll have to upgrade FFR to be supported by that version.

Well, I have two computers. One with Windows XP and dial-up, one with Windows 98 and DSL.
The '98/DSL one lags to the point of not being able to complete Standards.
The XP/dial-up one runs with no lag whatsoever.Comment

LD, if the system gets updated for Flash 8, would you work on updating a bunch of other stuff as well? I know that updating the Flash player would be quite the hastle, so I think you should save it for when major updates are being made. Don't want to mess a whole lot up.Comment

I don't know if you need to update the game to make it work with flash player 8, because people will install 8 when it comes out and they should still be able to play games in previous flash versions. And if the improvement is frame rate then idk if it would matter that the game is made for 7 at the moment.Comment
