    I have to know...

I've played over 2000 games of FFR, but I'm beginning to think my skill has peaked. While it's pretty cool to see yourself start out with songs like Mario and now be able to make it through other songs that you couldn't have dreamed you'd make it through...I am just not getting any better anymore. I still can't even compete in a song like Rondo Alla Turca, or Chrono Trigger, or Silence. At all. As in, not even close. I'm no longer satisfied with being able to get through After Me with no misses...but I'm not even close to being ready for the really tough songs.

But then...I saw my friends play FFR. And they play with two hands! I myself, I play with only one hand. Could this be the reason that I don't stand a chance on the really really hard songs?

So I have to ask...am I crazy for using one hand? Do you need two hands to beat the toughest of the tough songs?

    RE: I have to know...

I can pass everything in the game with relative ease and I play one-handed.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

      Go one-handers! woo hoo!

I play one hand but i'm not even close to getting as good as i can. from what i've heard two hands is a lot easier, but takes time to learn.

One-handed or two-handed is a matter of personal preference, really. I've gotten my ass kicked by one-handers before and I've always played two-handed.

If you really want to get better, try getting Stepmania.

I play one-handed, mostly, and I can beat every song faily easily, but I know the feeling Buane. So, right now, i'm learning 2 hands. Lol, kinda funny how bad I am like that, but, we'll see how it goes

Thx Completelyincomplete for the sig ^^

I felt the same way at first. Didn't think I was getting any better at all. Now I play two hands and not only cn I clear a bunch of harder songs, I'm also better with one hand.
Balloon Fever is beautiful and natural.

This happened to me, turn sudden on and you will continue to improve.

I'm a one-hander. I usually like to make things easy for myself, but because I'm a master on a keyboard, there's no reason for me to use two.

In DDR, you only have two feet. Wouldn't it make sense to only use two fingers?
