    Changin speed

i just started playing this game after playing at my friends over there it seemed "normal" so i came home and isgned up to play and now im playing and the arrows go by way faster then at his house
So then i looked in the settings and i noticed you can change the speed so i tried slowing it down but it does not allow me to change teh speed

    RE: Changin speed

First off, spell check, this isn't MSN. Now you must be talking about R2, right? Because only in R2 can you change the speed. To change it you have to click on the options tab at the top left corner when selecting a song. Move the rule to the desired speed and hit DELETE. Hitting delete is important because otherwise it wont save it.
PS: We don't need to know your real name...

          RE: Changin speed

That's because it's not avaliable in the original FFR.

They put those mods there because they were eventually going to get around to making them, but most of them (with the exception of about two) were never created.

This is why many people consider FFR to be more difficult than R2 (because of no speeds mods. [You speed mod whores .])

*EDIT: And wow, after looking back at your posts. This information may not be relevant to your problem at all. <_<
          What?

Uh then if you weren't playing R2 then how did your friend change the speed? He must have been playing R2. If you want to play it just hit R2 Public Beta on the link bar at the side of any FFR page (under modules).

                RE: Changin speed

I've narrowed all my answer choices down to these two...
                A. He was on Acid when he was playing FFR and saw the button that says "Click here to be awesome at FFR" (LOLZ)
                B. It's a real problem, and if he keeps on spelling words wrong so that we can't understand him, then we'll never find out what exactly the problem is (onoes!1!).
                C. He was playing R2, and he tried using Escape instead of Enter or Delete (or both at the same time like I do for some reason).

Maybe he's hitting Backspace instead of Delete? It's a possibility.

Okay, here's a question that should clarify which one his friend was playing...do you remember the name of the particular song?

                      RE: Changin speed

Or maybe his friend's computer is a lot better than his, and FFR lags on his computer.

                      Duh.

If this is the problem, click the little "Q" up in the top left corner a couple times, until the quality of FFR goes down. Then it should run faster on your computer.

No, ad0gg, he clearly said that he was able to change the speed of the arrows, this means that he had to play R2, where you can just right click and set the Quality to Low.

The speed mod options in FFR are not enabled.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
