    Mac OS X: Fullscreen Mode

I was reading the thread about fullscreen mode and noticed that some people were unhappy that it didn't work with macs and some people liked the mode because the bigger arrows were easier to follow. I have a solution for fellow mac users: Zoom mode.

To use zoom mode on any Mac with OS X:
    • Go into System Preferences > Universal Access: It lists the keyboard shortcuts, has an options menu, and has a huge frickin' button to turn on zoom mode. Turn zoom mode on.
    • Click on Zoom Options: Set it to:
    - show the preview rectangle when zoomed out
    - smooth images
    - move screen only when pointer reaches an edge
    • Open FFR in a window next to the zoom options window.
    • In Zoom Options, set the maximum zoom level to a size slightly larger than the FFR game window, using the preview rectangle as a guide. This is a little more than 2x magnification.
Finally, zoom in and play FFR! (Default keyboard shortcut for zooming in is command-option-plus. This can be changed under System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts. Here, you can also find and change all other keyboard shortcuts for the Finder, and even make your own shortcuts to run applications.)

P.S. - In Universal Access, there is also a "Switch to Black on White" option. For a little fun, this reverses the colors on your screen.
How has it been 15 years
