Firstly, I apologize for the length. It must be this long to have all the important info in it. The extra length is why I added the Table of Contents.
-I- Intro:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Synth in his infinite awesomeness has created an auto sig generator that can be used on FFR, or any other site. These stats images show total games played, grand total score, joined date, challenge wins and losses, and your overall rank. An example of the image can be seen below:

-II- How to do it:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Now, to get your stats image into your signature, do the following.
Copy the above and replace YOURNAMEHERE with your FFR username. For example, the code for my FFR sig is:
Then, go to the User Control Panel, and click the Edit Signature link on the left. At the top should be a preview of your current signature, and below should be a box for input, much like the reply boxes for posting. At the top of the edit box, you should see a button used to add a picture.

Click it. From there, simply copy, paste, and edit the code above to include your own name. You can preview it to make sure it worked right. When you're finished, click the "Save Signature" button.
-III- Customization: custom images
--------------------------------------------------------------
There are also a few extra features for you people who like to customize things.
You can change the image that has the text put onto it.
For example,You can make this:

Into this:

You can use almost any image, but it must be in PNG format. Also be warned of what Synth has said:
To do this, simply take the normal URL for the stats image, and add "&url=" to the end, followed by the url of the image you'd like to put in the place of the default image.
For example, the above changes from
to:
I used to be really into using custom images and since I no longer use an FFR siggy, I've decided to give most of my old images to the population of FFR. A lot of these are similar, and a lot of these suck pretty bad, but oh well... they're definitely more interesting than plain blue.
Also, apparently these images won't work from where they are. I suggest reuploading them to another image hosting site (such as imageshack) and using that link. I honestly have no idea why they won't work using these links, but there really is nothing I can do.
EDIT: I think I've discovered the problem. I believe that it has to do with the fact that there are "spaces" (shown as %20 in the link) in the url. Before long, I plan on reuploading each of these at imageshack myself, but for now, you'll have to make due with what you have.

In addition to those, you can also use the classic Red one that Synth made:

Once you've compiled your link the way you like it, just follow the directions above in part -II-, only paste the link you made in place of the normal one.
-IV- Customization: high scores
--------------------------------------------------------------
Another feature is the ability to display your high score on a specific song from R1.
For example:

To do this, add "&level=" to the end, followed by the name of the song. When putting the name of the song, disreguard all punctuation and spaces. Many songs work, but it seems that the newer songs are more likely not going to work.
The code for the above image is:
Here is a list originally made by Jimerax. It lists many songs and what you need to put for it to appear correctly in your stats image. Odds are that if it's not listed here, it won't work. However, if you find one that's not listed, feel free to PM it to me or post it in this thread and I'll update.
There have been many songs added to FFR since this feature was added. I'm not confident that the new songs will work, but feel free to try it.
Again, like in the custom images section, simply follow the directions in part -II-, only use the link you compiled in this section in place of the standard one.
-V- Trouble Shooting
--------------------------------------------------------------
The number one biggest problem with this is that according to the siggy information, you may not be ranked yet, and because of that, you will simply be unable to use this. In game, the ranks are updated constantly (seemingly in real time), but for the siggies, the ranks still need to be updated manually, and as such, some individuals may not be able to use this. All you can do is play FFR a lot and wait for an admin to update it.
If your image is appearing as a link, then likely, you simply forgot to put [img] tags on it. Additionally, your siggy may appear as a link if you have the [img] tags on it correctly, but, like above, you're not ranked well enough to be included in the siggy information and when the forum tries to display the image, it may simply just show the url and act as a link.
Now, if there is still a problem, you can post here. I will do my best to help. You can probably expect a response from me personally within a day (and Tasselfoot likes to post here occasionally to help as well). If I don't respond shortly, feel free to IM me at Afrobean16 and I'll see what I can do.
-VI- Revision History
--------------------------------------------------------------
With the come of the new forums, I see that a lot of this info was thrown off... I'll be keeping a revisions history from now on.
April 20, 2006: editted contents to conform to new standards for the new forums. HTML no longer works with these forums, it seems, but [img] tags do. Fantastic.
April 20, 2006 (part 2): Having some trouble with getting [img] tags to display as text rather than a link or something. Kinda tired of this though. Will work out a fix sometime very soon.
9/08/06: Updated some info regarding rankings. Since the original writing of this guide, everyone has ranks in FFR the game, but the siggies still don't automatically update.
10/14/06: Noticed some weird wording and fixed it, and added the comment about unranked user's signatures appearing as links rather than broken link images. That's all.
[I]10/30/06: Discovered the wonder that is the [noparse] tag. It allows me to post links without them being parsed. I went through and fixed things up and everything should be squared off now. Let me know if you see anything.[/I]
