    I built a trebuchet once (mini).

    It sucked cock, because it gets REALLY scientific. Everything has to be engineered PERFEVTLY or else it (A) falls apart, (B) Won't release right, or (C) when it fires, the coordinates are fucked to the fucking moon.

    Mine was 2.5 feet high or so, 20 lbs of weight, and only fired 40 feet on a goos shot.

    That SHOULD fire a 1 inch diameter lead ball...well...really really fucking far.
