    Score Calculations?

I've been wondering for a while, how is the score calculated when you beat/lose a level? I can't think of how it is... anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Check the FAQ, it is in there somewhere.

Heh, nobody ever goes there, but it has like a TON of info on everything.

      yea.... 5 point= average, 25 good, 50 pefect.

      then the bonus

multiply your combo by 1000. your pefects by 500, your good by 250 and your average by 50. Then add it to your score.

Then how the hell did that person beat my score on Soul Shift with the score they got? The max should be 390600 by those calculations (which I do believe to be right).

I actually know a little c++, and i made a nifty little program in my spare time that calculates the maximum score you can get on a song just by entering how many arrows are in the song. You can also enter a score and it will tell you exactly how many perfects you need AT LEAST in order to beat that high score. its not much, but if you want to know more just pm me or aim me.

One day there will be a really cool sig here. But not right now.

Ooh, it would be even cool if it showed how many misses or averages you could NOT get in order to beat the score.

I got knocked off the comp for a day cause of that evil blackout all over northeast US, but after some crazy mathmatical calculations i managed to upgrade my calculator! take a look! once again, pm or aim me with any complaints or comments, or just reply to this post.

Nice job there, that looks awesome.
Wait, you worded that wrong. It says every average you get is 5 goods rather than every 5 averages is a good. But besides that, I think its clear.

How do you get the total number of arrows in a song? Sometimes, when I get a miss, I miss the arrow and then hit the key (causing a miss) (or vice versa), so you can't just add them up.

Also, do you only get the bonus for your max combo? Not any combo?
