Is there anyway to play online versus on the r2 public beta? Cause I try to open it but it won't let me select it.

These two are lying. Flypie is the one telling the truth. There is no online multiplayer in R2 yet.

There is online multiplayer in the original FFR though. I'm not sure if it still works though, as a lot of stuff went down on the original FFR when R2 was put up (ie credits, high scores, purchasing songs).

R2 and SM are too similar though, I would rather play SM than play R2, but FFR is kinda in a different catagory.
