...the classical songs are harder than CT if u ask me. Anyway, I was asking of a strategy for the level itself, not for "get good enough to beat everything else and then chrono trigger"...
I find myself beating Rondo Alla Turca more often then Chrono Trigger, but whatever, atleast be able to beat all the non-classical songs (besides maybe hellbeat) before trying CT.
I found the biggest gap between difficulties of songs was everything BTC and easier, and everything hellbeat and harder. They really should add some songs between those to practice on... I believe by the time I beat CT I could FC mega man and could get a 120 combo on BTC (Now I can get a 202 combo, but that's beside the point) Just keep practicing the hardish songs until you can make good headway on those difficult songs (Mega Man is my fav song to practice on, besides maybe BTC)
i'll tell you the gap between the top 5 hard songs and BTC is HUGE; revo, rondo, caprice, chrono, and hellbeat; i've fc'ed every song but those 5; i could every song up to BTC w/o question every time, but on the top 5 songs i'll miss 50-100 on each...thats not even close; i think to beat chrono you should know the patterns, and be able to read the arrows well, dont key smash, and dont give up even if you miss 10 in a row
when i refered to almost all the good players use two hands, reach was the one in mind that uses one, and is amazing;
if i could start relearning these games i would start two handed, it seems easier for the harder songs, i just dont feel comfortable using two hands, and probably never will...anyways good luck to you quizkid
