While I agree that 10,000 is a bit excessive, I do think it should have to be bought or have some kind of restriction on it. Or even better, a kind of credit or join date heiarchy- I should be able to kick the noobs out.

Also, there should be an auto kick if somebody is idle for over, say, 5 minutes in the peak times of the day- I'd be willing to be a bunch of people just sit in there.

I have no clue why but...everytime i click 'connect' it'll change to 'connecting' or something like that for about 30 seconds... and then it will go back to 'not connected'. :S any help?

HVAM, the server is currently not up because Synth is getting someone to rewrite the server in Java because of security and uptime concerns...

As for "buying" multiplayer, it would mean we'd all have to turn into FFR obsessives playing 24/7. If you're going to make it available to a particular group, make it available to those who have been playing FFR for X amount of time or something. Me, I've been a member for over a year now (even though my forum profile says otherwise: on FFR it says I've been a member since May 2003), so maybe something could be done this way? Of course, i'm still against the whole idea of exclusivity...

could it be possible for there to be like a "host" of a game who can decide wat song to put on and then both players could then play that song regardless if the "joiner" has it or not? i mean im a decent player but when ive sugested playing party4u or abtrusity some people dont have it. plus this could give some people a taste of what they could get...

It only makes more sense for it to be given to ACTIVE users than users who have been around long...

Any active user for FFR for a whole year, should have at least 8k credits, 1k credits a day is easy...

For headache, and gazimod, they are just saying that because they probably quit the game for a year and came back (something similar as I)

If it has to be who has been along the longest, then it should be who has been active a number amount of days, not some random person who signed up and quit for a year.

However I think the whole idea itself is dumb, newbs who play for the first time might want to play with each other, if you're having problems spending credits, then maybe they could implement some really expensive things, like differnt backgrounds, themes, background music, and characters, sure it doesn't mean much, but at least there's something to work forward to.

Okay, RussG, fair point, and I agree with your comment about the ridiculousness of the idea of "earning" MP. It will be a complete turn-off to newbies (and probably one or two people who've been around for a bit) - they'll just look at it and thing "How much? Sod that."

Why not just do something like the "secret" thing if you are so set on the idea of buying multiplayer: that is, for every x number of credits you earn, a new song is available for use in multiplayer?

(Oh, and nothing personal - it happens on every community i am part of - but I am qazimod and not gazimod. )
