    Avatar problems

Okay, so when I go to upload a new avatar, all I get is a red X. The picture is of good dimensions and size, but it won't show up. I've tried uploading from photobucket and straight from my computer, but nothing works. Any ideas?

Still no. I tried linking from photobucket and got a red X. I thought that it might just be a problem on their side (since they have been having problems), so I loaded it onto my own server (after reading your post), but still had problems.

I don't know what to do, and I really want the new av.

For some reason you have to upload it elsewhere then use the last option in the list of three in the avatar section. When I slightly changed my avatar I had to delete the old one first...that ended up being bad since FFR wouldn't let me upload to the avatar DB. So just choose the last option in that list

        Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

        And it will be fine.

Thanks for the help, Squeek. The last option did work, though it may not seem so as my avatar remains what it was. I just decided not to put it up right now.
