Okay, I hate making threads like this, but I'm kind of sick of seeing people post retarded shit on these forums.

I'll give you an example.
"omg liek datz teh funni, liek i want mor o dat plzz".
Simple example of what countless people on these forums do on a day-to-day basis. I bet a good portion of the posts contain useless information, or just plain immaturity.

It's god-fucking annoying, and I hate reading post after post of intentional-gayness. Plus, if someone makes an important thread and wants an answer, two or three people at MOST give an informative answer. About four or five post-whore and post gay shit, and even stupid pictures.

Stop fucking around, and grow up. Go be your gay little self elsewhere.

Oh.. and keep the forums clean from this crap.
I read enough of it in my e-mail inbox.

That's not my point. I've seen topics locked, with important questions that don't get answered 3 days later until a mod finally decides to lock it and gives him the answer.
It's just plain stupid.

I agree, but it's not like this is going the change anything. You have to deal with immature people in both real life and the forums, and that will never change. People will be idiots, just ignore them.

Actually... do you think we could have an ignore option on the boards? So all you see is 'This messege has been blocked', and maybe an option to see it just in case they arern't being an idiot? This forum would be so much nicer after half the member are on my ignore list =p.

I think the solution is the let everybody know what the difference between a forum and a chat room is (as I have said before).

An Internet-based Forum is a place to go to post questions, comments, or basically anything you want that relates to the topic of the subforum.

A Chat Room is a place to go to talk personally with other people about anything you want.

So how is it that Chat Rooms have melded together with Forums? I don't know. But nowadays people are getting offtopic so fast because one person decides to pick out one thing from one other person's valid post and comment on it, such as a past experience related to the topic at hand. These should be done in a PERSONAL MESSAGE to the person that posted it. You should not address off-topic things within the topic.

One other thing, the garbage bin, as Chardish said, is full of unimaginative idiots who like to waste time on the forum as if it is a chat room. Typing in "idiot" does NOT make you cool. It makes you sound even stupider than you really are and it's absolutely useless to do so.

The occasional "OMG R U SHURE?!!1" is funny. The unoccasional everyday "qrq" post in the Garbage Bin is not.

I agree with EvilPeer when he said it's annoying seeing about five users posting utter crap into semi-legitimate topics like "in b4 lok lolsz" or MIXING IT UP and going with "In AFTER LOCK :O :O :O :O :O" instead of answering the question. Just answer the question for the guy or don't post at all, okay? It works out so much easier that way.
