What's the highest amount of attempts you've tried to get an FC or AAA or even just a pass on a song? Currently trying to AAA as many songs as I can, starting at difficulty 1 and working my way up, and just took 279 attempts to AAA Gruntilda's lair (the third burst kept screwing me up). What about you?

3,000+ for Largiloquent Dithyramb. Pretty brutal way to get Otaku[Oni]. At least 2900 restarts are the first 50 notes.

451 for me...on Electro Rush x8? Weird, I remember spam playing a lot of songs but not that one. I have it AAA'ed, so it must have been from when I was still pretty new to the game.

Seriously, some of you guys are insane playing songs thousands of times.

116 attempts on boxel adventure in OT15, and many MANY more hundreds of restarts (still no AAA :c)

214 on Monstrous Turtles (was trying to FC it, still don't have the FC...)
193 on Senorita Bonita (OT binge-playing...)

yeah legacy files suck so much ass. doesn't help that you can't see the note colors either. Pretty sure most legacy files were stepped by that stepmania feature where you let the song play and press arrows along to the song. Leads to some incredible inaccuracies. This is why I've been skipping almost all legacy files in my journey from beginner songs and up.
