    Different types of input devices

Apologies if there was already a thread for this, I couldn't find one though.

I was wondering if it's at all easy to link up a different input device for ffr. I've seen someone here play ffr on a midi keyboard a few years back and it gave me an idea to link up a dualshock 4 controller to the pc. I play a lot of DjMax on the ps4 which looks a lot like beatmania. so I changed it to a downscroll and added the beatmania noteskin. I feel like I could learn to play DjMax a lot better if I had a go at the songs i've ben playing for over a decade.

    many thanks.

I played ffr with a logitech controller iirc but maybe I had used a program to remap it technically to the keyboard to trigger the letters assigned in the game lmao

if it works, it works haha. Do you remember what program you used? I'm sure if I find a good remapping program I can somehow do the same for a DS4

yeah i wish my memory was more exact - can't hurt to experiment :P

stepmania on the other hand, didnt need a program to remap it directly :v

I would if everyting supported custom controls haha. unfortunately not every game does. that's why I'm trying to figure out if theres any remapping software that any of you use for this type of game.
