Should I learn upscroll?

i'm very hard wired on Downscroll/reverse (mostly because of years in osu!mania). I got my first upscroll fc in FFR a few days ago. So i wanna ask should i continue doing upscroll? I wanna get used to it because:

-Upscroll just looks better than downscroll :-/

Should i go for it? or just stick with using what i'm used to.

Go with whatever you're most comfortable with, what's easier to read etc.
Getting an fc doesn't always mean you should switch. You can try it for a couple of days and see how you like it and if that feels better or worse in general. Don't worry that it doesn't look good, I use downscroll too, it doesn't make you any better or worse than people who play upscroll. It's like asking if you should become left handed because it looks better than being right handed, go with whatever feels better to you
Of course, you can always try learning it for fun <3

For what it's worth, if you ever do decide to learn upscroll because you think it looks better, you can always just switch to upscroll in osu!mania. If you're hardwired to downscroll though, you could also try experimenting with different noteskins and scroll speeds on FFR and continue playing that way

naw stick with downscroll. All the hip rhythm games with flashy buttens are downscroll only and majority of games that are primarily upscroll also support downscroll.

The upside (heh) of using upscroll is that you get to see my mine art in the proper orientation.
On the flipside (sorry), using downscroll will help you with reading pretty much any other vertical scrolling rhythm game aside from ddr/piu.

For 4k (FFR/SM/Etterna/o!m) in particular you should be fine either way for getting good at the game.
I don't think you are at a level switching will cost you much so if you think upscroll looks better and don't mind a small period of playing worse while adapting then go for it!

If playing on upscroll feels fun to you, feel free to stick with it.

But if you're asking whether learning upscroll is worth it, I'd say stick with downscroll unless you want to play a game that supports upscroll only. Most VSRGs (like others here have stated) support downscroll, but not many support just upscroll.

I tend to get a motion aftereffect when playing downscroll so I stick with upscroll, but it's total preference.
