Far as I know, R3 Air only works for Windows. It runs off an executable (.exe, native to Windows).

If you have the coin to get something like Wine or Parallels (idk which is better) to run windows-native (.exe) programs, do so

I'd say Wine or running the flash version of FFR on a standalone Flash Player is your best choice.

I play on Mac, have never gotten any downloadable FFR version to work, and the standalone stopped working a while ago. But playing FFR online is still really possible - I've been playing FFR online my entire time on this site, and while sometimes frustrating I don't think it's too different
