can't hit legacy notes

I had discovered this some time back and thought "aw that sucks" but maybe I'm doing some thing wrong - at the same time I thought maybe I should ask some one about this... but just forgot about it.

Now having had a random urge to wanna play legacy this christmas I thought now is as good a time as any to ask the fine people of these forums: why doesn't FFR's legacy engine register notes?

I set my scroll speed to what it use to be on legacy (1.87) and use the same remap for the keys (sdkl) and all I get attempting any song is booing out. So from this I know that I can at least send an input to the game but it puzzles me no secret genre pun intended why I can't actually hit any of the notes even with various combinations of the same mapping.

I really miss legacy engine. R^3 is okay but nowhere near the same

Strange. I just went to play Legacy out of curiosity, and had no problems besides note lag.

Reminds me of how even nearly FC'ing a level 50 song isn't enough to get the avatars to smile.

The problem is the speed mod. Legacy for some reason has issues with some speed mods. If you set it to 1.875 then it will work fine.

this did the trick, thank you tosh! Now I can enjoy some legacy and boy it feels different than r3 8u
