I beat Activity Unbroken and then Salad for your Tuesday on my first try when I first started. I FCed Salad of my first day, and I had less than 100 credits! Now I can FC Ingenuity, rarely.
How did you start out?

The concept of the game is simple enough so I just started with the easiest levels and started working my way up. I guess I was OK then. I'm not great and not horrible, just in the middle I think.
Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

I was into SM for quite a while before I ever joined FFR (On my first account which was a REALLY long time ago). So I was halfway decent from the start. As for SM though, starting that I could clear any DDR songs on keyboard, but 10s were a stretch....Comment

I "I r0xord j0or b0xorz" or whatever you said when I start, considering I was a beginner. I'm not saying that I was really any good, but right off the bat I could FC Terror From Beyond and stuff. The reason why is because before I came here I had about a year of experience with DDR and the controller, and changing to arrow keys wasnt really thath ard for me for some reason. Anyway, I sure did get a lot better. I'm practicing Rondo because the music doesnt get annoying to me and I just find it fun. It also increases my points, my skill, my average credits per game(lol), and just increase my credits, not like I need to, but its just another thing...Comment

I started playing FFR in late December 2002. I think my first week or so saw me being able to beat Terror From Beyond about half the time, and I was working on Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl.
I played FFR on and off (but mostly off) for pretty much all of 2003. The best thing I ever did during that time was FC the Yoshi Bonus Level.
Then in late December 2003 I download SM, and have been hooked ever since. Fast forward six and a half months, and you have me now.
Originally posted by seinnoand also thank you everone for clearing it up for me I will try to start using my two hands iv tried quit a bit i put my left hand index and middle finger middle finger is on the up arrow index on on left arrow and right hand i use my index for the down button and middle for the right button does that seem weird?Comment

I was sux since I had absolutely no Rhythm Action background. It took me a week to pass Mario. This is about August or September 2002, maybe even earlier.
Now, I look back and laugh at how bad I was.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.Comment

I started playing DWI about a year ago this month.
Then I found FFR, and, therefore, SM.Comment

I started off as "sux". I played like a ton of DDR beforehand.. and actually played this one mini-DDR like game before, so I had the rhythm down. I could pass 5 )'s pretty easily. FCing was out of the question with this very slow computer.
And then SM came along.. and well, fastforward to now O.o and you got me.

Heh heh, I remember freaking out when I beat Hellbeat. I was like "OMG I AM TEH ROXORS" but now, it's kind of funny. And then the FOTBB contest rolled around, and I beat that once, and I freaked out again. Good times...I'm a figantic gaggotComment
