I spent some time today in stepmania making a file. Much easier than arranging 10/10

I uploaded the folder to dropbox, which you can download by clicking here. (I hope.)

It was a really fun song to "step", and the goal was to make an easy song that's also fun to play.

This is my first file, and I'd like some feedback before potentially creating more (especially in terms of formatting for FFR).

on a side note its kinda interesting to see that a file from someone how has never played sm manages to follow fairly decent PR, even if the file is super bare bones.
you are already several steps ahead of travis flesher

I didn't zip it; I literally just uploaded it straight from its location in the stepmania folder. Is all I need the .sm and .mp3 files?

zipping up single files is just the mp3 and .sm inside a folder. the zip came with a folder but the files were outside of the folder lmao

PR is pitch relevancy, or having notes move left/right based on the pitch of the note being played (with right side being high pitches and left side being low pitches)

ye I agree but also I think someone who went straight from DDR to this kinda junk wouldn't follow it so it probably depends a bit on background

that's what I was going for! And yeah the file is definitely an easy one, since I can do it without any misses. Probably like "Easy" in the FFR tabs

Honestly yeah, that's more or less what I'm saying. That being said, it's impressive to follow it well, so that's good on ur part

Let's be real tho, the concept of "high notes to the right, low notes to the left" is complete common sense lol
