i've tried both and i prefer the browns
my current keyboard has Romer-G switches which are basically reds but they seem more durable

I have browns and this Razer keyboard that's a "hybrid" that I really really like. I want some blacks though, they're probably my favourite to type with

Actually they're a stiffer red but yeah

Basically it's like having an O ring on reds except it bottom outs on the plastic etc instead of a rubber O ring, so it feels nicer imo (reds but less travel distance)

Objectively speaking to me silvers are a straight upgrade from reds but idk

I own a few brown keyboards but haven't tried them recently so maybe next session I'll try browns but I hate adapting
