I think RATO is a bit....overrated. it should be about the same difficulty as Power. I find it easier, so it must be. Right?

Imo RATO and powerflux are overrated compared to the other 108+s but eh

Edit: well, to reword that, I'd say out of any of the "legendary" songs like undici, death paino etc, RATO is probabaly one of the easier to AAA

Edit2: nvm I'm an idiot, powerflux is a 103 and RATO undici and death piano are the only 108+ songs lolz

I found the perfect example. Go play this Potas, and let me know what you think. What should it be rated? Its pretty easy, except 2 sections...or just watch the replay if you cant.

            Its rated a 0, but should it be a 41, 56, 83, 100?

Re: How Do Songs Get Labeled There Level?

I think there's a misunderstanding here on what exactly the difficulty is representing. The difficulty rating is more about how difficult it is to get a good AAA equivalency, more like an SDG or better. If you're comparing songs where your raw goods or 50 or over, you're not going the wrong way with it.

Don't get me wrong, I think there are several songs that have inaccurate difficulties. And many of these fall into the 30 to 50 range. But we at least have to be comparing apples to apples what we talk about what the difficulty is representing.

I think death piano probabaly easier if you have the skillset, and to me RATO is like, pure speed, if you have the speed to not have to jumptrill anything it isn't too odd

Undici on the other hand is like what the fuk

I also don't think you have to be of that skill level to fairly judge a song in a certain difficulty range. I do think that has had an effect on some songs being underrated, like certain songs may have stamina issues that better players may not see, but overall you can get fairly close just comparing the songs in game.

The thing about crowdpleaser is it's easy except there's parts that are nearly impossible cause notes overlap and such (my explaining is probabaly wrong but good enough imo) so it's rated 0, idk i guess he's using it as an example because it's so weird, the easy part is effortless and the hard part is unrateable etc

Tbh it's not that good of an example I'd say skeletor or something would be a better one but idk

That what im getting at, im not sure why everyone else thinks ffr as a perfect system on giving a song its level...I was just sharing my experience with how i encountered Welcome 2 Omnicore and think it should be higher, but this is my opinion and everyone have there's.

I'm sure the devs are working on this issue if not then guess im going to have to suck it up haha

Because its literally like 135 jacks and if you actually have the speed to wrist jack it you won't split the long jacks
