How to really sync an FFR stepfile

    1. Use 0 gap
    2. Convert mp3 to ogg or just use an ogg in the first place

oggs have no gap, thus making syncing pointless, because they'll be onsync with 0 gap anyway.

Unless FFR has some strange aversion to .ogg files, this would be an effective way to make pretty much every FFR song that was originally a DWI onsync.

If you don't know what an ogg is go away.

And before you ask, yeah Stepmania supports oggs.

They have a gap, its just really small and nobody will notice on ffr, especially without marvelous timing.

        I'll test it later.

My way allows for exact syncing...this, if it's reasonably accurate, would be a cheap way, because though it may be easier, there's no way it can get it within 2 gap like my method can.

EDIT: Just tested it. It didn't change the gap at all. I used Audacity to convert it, by the way. What did you use?

Flash can only import mp3 files... I have never heard of it allowing ogg files to be imported...

          my_sound.loadSound("url", isStreaming)

          Parameters
url The location on a server of an MP3 sound file.

          Sorry....

The song has to be encoded as an ogg in the first place.
