Is there a way to beatmap a song that isn't beatmapped?

this has probably been asked many times over, but I'd like to know a one-word answer, even if I'm able to beatmap a song I like, and only play it on my computer, that would be great.

nah, beatmaps breed and reproduce naturally, no way to do it yourself.

Wow, FFR community as helpful as ever.

Look up StepMania, you'll need some music, and ideally know/figure out the BPM. Google around, you should be able to find some stepping tutorials.
