Rating Update?

umm...why hasnt the rating been updated lately? ive had the same rank for atleast a week now...why doesnt LD update it?

I suppose you're right, but it would be nice if the updates were done regularly. Then we'd at least know when to expect the next one. I can understand them being too busy to do it every single day, but I was kind of hoping for maybe once a week. I don't know exactly when the last rank update was done, but I know it hasn't happened since I joined. Thus I'm still waiting for one to see if my stats sig will start working.

Dronak just keep playing i guess..i have waited atleast a week..and have been on and off this place and gotten about 25-30 million extra points so..i was just wonderin why he hasnt..

It is very easy for me to update the ranking.

However... if the ranking updater is broken, kinda hard to do that Synth will work on it when he gets a chance!

Ohhh. Why didn't you say so sooner! I don't think any of us knew that. OK, no problem then. I guess the next update will happen whenever the program is fixed. Let's just hope it doesn't take *too* long to fix.

How did I slide back four ranks? I gained like 50,000,000 since the last time updates came through. Argh...this is crap.

But finally all the newer people waiting to get a siggy get one. Should keep the FFR Siggy topic slow for a while.

These people with double-digit ranks need to make themselves known. Seriously.

Because, Squeek, at that high of a rank, you have to gain a lot more to be able to keep up. I gained like 250,000,000 or something because I had a huge jump in skill and I only got up like 40 ranks lol.

Thanks a lot, lightdarkness! I don't know how difficult it was to do it without the updater you normally use, but I certainly appreciate it. I'm sure other new players waiting to get a stats sig appreciate it as well, so I'll give you a general thank you from all of us.

P.S. -- I was satisfied knowing that the updater was broken and would take time to fix. I wasn't trying to push you to do it anyway, but I am certainly glad you decided to.

Yes, I generally do try to avoid one line posts and normally add some explanation to all my posts, even the shorter ones. I tell people to blame it on my scientific training. I'm kind of surprised that my rank is as high as it is for just starting here. I guess there are more of us with relatively low point totals than I thought.

MrESqueek, wasn't there a thread to find the top 10 ranked people? I thought that actually ended up getting extended down to rank 20 or so. Since you're so highly ranked, maybe that list will help you out. Unless they decide to put a list of the top 10, 20, 50, whatever ranked players on the site, I guess you'll have to find out by asking here and checking out posts. Buit maybe that top 10 thread can be a decent starting point for you.
