If you can figure out when they appear and hit them, you'll get more points and a higher score. I guess they're telling people who do know about these secret arrows not to use them so that it will be fair for everyone playing.

A secret arrow is a code penguins give to each other to know when to slap another penguin down into the water(when they arent expecting it), shown as my avatar.Comment
