Hello everyone! I've been wondering about something. So, normally, I have only been able to sufficiently play level 1-45ish songs, and I took about a three month break from FFR. Now, I've been able to play a lot of level 60+ songs really well, (ex: Capoeira Sundance, etc.) and I don't know what I did to be able to read notes this fast? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks! <3

Hello TheDiamondCrafter. A phenomena occurs in which the subconcious memories
of the indivdual mature during sleep thus after taking a hiatus from many activities
then returning to them one will find themselves performing better. Coincidentally
a phenomena known as binaural harmony of the cosmic consciousness leads to
individuals becoming better at things that they have never even performed before
which could all very well lead to what you have described.Join the discussion for "The Currency of the Beast"

The FFR terminology for this is called: skillboosting.Old QuotesOriginally posted by IwasAsquidOnceNote the left hand pinky. Re: Is this normal?
I dunno it's also finger speed, by the looks of things you were probably wasding around mindcraft so youd still be working on finger speed.Comment

This
Also if you play or do things that require reaction and/or muscle memory that would benefit in an increase of skill.
Then you can have detrimental moments like getting burnt out on playing the same amount of charts to where you don't improve at all and taking a break and coming back can really make the difference.
@Dingle, Rushy's right, finger speed shouldn't be a concept before D5. If anything, you're still adjusting to learning timings and how to hit patterns.
@OP, using myself as an example, I stopped playing FFR seriously for around a month (played other rhythm games) and when I came back I was at the top of my game so it can definitely happen to others. To answer thread question, yes, this would be defined as "Normal".

Re: Is this normal?
You are probably experience, which in no doubt in my mind fam, is what is called an increase of speed and dexterity of the fingers. It's a unique attribute in that the person who gains these two are said to continue at a staggering rate.
It is my opinion, as is all of FFR, that you have increased said abilities and there is no doubt in my mind tbqh fam (y) that you will keep gaining these unique traits as you do move activies that call for them.
Now tap those keyboard keys and get that triple letter that starts at the beginning of the alphabet on a song that FFR calls typically a file with notes that is for of the master's only.
