    Re: Classical Song Update!

The problem with MIDIs is they sound like shit unless you're willing to get quality sample libraries and have the skill and time to edit them to sound natural.
And if you are one of those kind of people, usually doing stuff for free on FFR isn't the best use of your talents :P

By far the most ignored genre is Hip-Hop so your argument falls flat

I blame lack of permissions for this.

I totally agree with this. Kind of why I am not a fan of Xanders files. The midis were extremely low quality, though well arranged

This still holds true btw (Also hi everyone! It's been forever!)

You can go to this link and pick any track you like in either the "Void" album or "Other Compositions" and email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the track for free so you can step it.

I even have a video game piano medley in other compositions and a cover of Tristram from Diablo 2 which I got the permission for back in 2012 (was featured by blizzard too)

wow nice, that tristam song would be very well suited for FFR.

You could get a tournament going similar to stepcon, but only for classical music if the game/forum managers would be up for it that would be a possibility.

Or get a batch dedicated to filling up the classical genre.

I would definitely love to see more of my tracks in game, but I understand that classical is difficult to step.

The guy who stepped my "Etude On a Nimbus" did a great job tho. Wish he had done a few more.

Someone also needs to chart Frenzied Etude because that'd be a fucking sick file.

I'd do it but I don't have the patience to get like 7,000 back and forth reviews on PRfection.

What would be the best course of action to find a step artist willing to step one or more of my compositions?
