why does it freeze?

try adjusing the quality...theres a "Q" in the corner of the screen....try clicking that a few times

Adjusting the quality does seem to help. Exiting any programs you have running in the background ought to help, too. The less your computer is trying to do, the easier it should be for it to run the FFR game. It normally works fine for me at home though it does lag a little bit sometimes. That is a pain when it makes me miss notes and lose a good combo, but normally it's not so bad. Maybe I have to shut down more background programs.

well I have to computers and one is fast and the other is slow maybe if ya just get a faster computer than it wont freeze then go

Also, if you're using the arrows keys and not the #pad, if you hold down more than 2 buttons (or press them within a 10th of a second within each other, as is what usually happens when you mash.. or play Chrono Trigger boss /=.), your compy might freeze up for a second and try beeping at you.
