I got a perfect on the Trip to the Moon song (all of it was a chain, and all of them were perfect... I know, I have no life) and, unless I am missing something about this game's concept, wouldn't that be as high as the score could go? I am ranked 13, not because of a lot of ties, but because there are tons of scores higher than mine. What else comes into play with scoring?

Yeah, I've seen this a few times looking around the board. If we know these are hacked scores and what the real maximum score should be, could the game be coded to reject any scores above the real maximum? Just not accept them if they're hacked.
Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.

Yes, I know perfect security is impossible. But even if they hack to get the real maximum score, at least it's an actual score that you can get by playing fairly. Better to have the max score be the real, fair max than something that no one who doesn't cheat can ever get.
