    slippery keys

My fingers keep slipping off of the keys while playing, because I guess I have sweaty fingers. I was thinking of putting some griptape (it's like a sandpaper sticker) on the keys, but I think it may cut up my fingers. Do you guys think this is a good idea?

or just get some duct tape...its pretty thick and sticky on the outside, hard to slip on...usually works if u eithe put on the keys or ur fingers

Wear gloves and get used to the feeling of playing with gloves. Ok, I know it didnt sound right, but you know what I meant.

The paint on my first keyboard wore off, and the keys got pretty slippery. That didn't hinder my gameplay much, though.

The Logitech Corded Elite is my mother (and Maddox is my father).

same...my keyboard keeps getting pushed further back and i have to move it during a break, or i move the sliding board out further until im like bending over it to play...

and griptape would hurt ur fingers. u wouldnt get cut, but it would burn like hell

I like it when my keys are slippery. It helps a lot in hitting really fast streams.

Grip tape on my arrow keys or something similar would be incredibly limiting for me.

As a skater, I BEG you not to put sandpaper on your keys. I'm having to build a calice (sp??) on my thumb because my griptape on my skate keeps rubbing against it and it eats the skin on my thumb alive. You're probably better off wearing some sort of gloves.

OK... I try'd it. It was ok. I probably could've gotten used to it, but as Spazzbite said, I'd probably get some wicked calices. I don't think I'll be playing like that again. I'll just try and get used to slipping off the keys during them damned 16th runs. I may try gloves sometime; if I can ever get some nice ones.

and thanks a lot to Tantric for stretching the page with your broken sig[/sarcasm]

Stop being so fat and maybe your fingers wouldn't sweat so much.

EDIT: Totally didn't notice this was a 2 year bump.

                            Still, my point stands.
