new computer problems

so i got a new computer yesterday since my other one is on it's way out and i thought "maybe FFR won't be as laggy now that i have a good computer".....WRONG. Its basically unplayable. any suggestions/tips/etc. of what i can do so it doesn't lag and runs smoothly?

i tried increasing the framerate and that only makes it worse.

and i am using standalone just incase you thought that could help.

i just don't understand why it wont work on a brand new computer.

HELP! (pretty much every tourney im in now im gonna have to quit unless i can fix this)

oh and for some reason i get random misses even though im physically hitting the keys

-Are you using any Flash player that's not 9?
-Is your computer updated? (This means the operating system)
-Are you using a new keyboard/same keyboard?
-Does your FFR Flash player settings allow unlimited storage?

All I can think of for now until I get answers to this stuff.

can you send me a link for the correct flash player please? and one thing i literally just noticed is that my lap top wont let me hit 4 keys at once with my normal "as jk" setup. any idea how to solve this problem?

wow buying a computer in 2015 and expecting to play ffr on it ok i have a few computers from 2004 that still work if you want them

so my conclusion is i'm going to have to buy a separate keyboard that allows me to hit 4 buttons at once and the flash player may also be hindering me playing. if you don't mind me asking, what type of keyboard do you have preggers because i remember you said you had a really good one

for my desktop i use flash player 12. the other ones dont seem to work for it. umm, built it in late 2014.

I don't think it was mentioned in here yet and it may or may not be the issue that you're having, but certain kinds of keyboards don't allow certain 4 key setups for rhythm games just because of the way data travels through the keyboard and into the computer. It's called 'Keyboard Ghosting'. Look it up in google, the first link on the results page will give you a little thing to check which keys are not responding to certain setups if you push in all 4 keys at the same time.

ooooOOOOoooh pricy! my only criticism with that keyboard is how raised the keys are, however it seems to work very well for you so it may just take some getting used to. i'll look into that.

keyboard is pretty big although i'm still able to comfortably reach the second row with my wrists planted on the table
i've always been a fan of raised and clicky keys deidara is right it's great
