As for a gamepad...well, why would you want to?

FFR isnt meant to be played by anything else than your fingers. All other ways are too difficult, or not worth it.

What kind of controller were you planing on hooking up?

And.. you will get better with the keyboard if you keep practiceing.

I have this Microsoft controller...i want a controller because the keyboard makes my fingers stiff and it hurts after a while

There are plenty of joystick to mouse/keyboard programs out there but FFR is much easier with using fingers. Boos really show up when you use a controller even. Probably because you just think you can press the button longer.

If you really want to the just search google for that type of program....
