Change FFR Forum Look

Is it possible to change the FFR Forum's default blue bars and white text to other colors? I tried clicking the "Customize Profile" link in the User CP (control panel), but although the bars and text color changed at the bottom of the page, it didn't affect the rest of the FFR Forum. Thank you in advance!

currently, and unfortunately, no. We cannot currently alter the color scheme/theme of the FFR forums. I still think we should be able to, but that prolly won't happen.

I think it looks good how it is. I'd imagine upgrading the forums would break a lot of things that were altered to integrate other parts of the site.

even if that were the case, FFR really needs a thorough makeover since it's 2013 not 2006. modern forum software is more likely to bring in new faces as well.

he just needs access to the source code or the actual server. something like that. Something that only Synth and ?Sprite (or was that aperson... I forget who else owns stuff) have access to. I'm pretty sure it's all ready to roll out

what gives you the idea that updated forum software is going to require more data to be sent over the internet? that's not necessarily true.

if anything, it's going to require less if it takes advantage of technologies such as AJAX.
