How many plays does it take?

As I near 530 plays on D1's Round 2 song, I started wondering: What is the maximum number of plays it has taken for you all to AAA a song?

Not sure if this has been posted before.

Edit: My current longest (which Reset will hopefully replace soon) is Excite Bike with 166. However, the number's a bit inflated after trying to get OMGWTFTOKEN. So just in case, my second highest is Floating Bridge at 74.

Usually 3-5 replays. But then again, I'm not really sure what my highest is.

Within my skill level, would either be Dokudenpa at 216 plays or Torinouta at 275 plays or Max Forever at 406 plays. More embarrassing would probably be bbblow at 104 plays..

I had to play party 4u "holy nite mix" v2 a load of times to finally get the AAA. It says 345 times, and I haven't played it since then, so I think that is about right.

Depends if you mean total plays on a song that was AAA'd or total realistic AAA attempts.

It took me literally 320 tries (in a row) to AAA Domani when I was new.

The longest it has taken me for a AAA was 77 attempts, frustrating but I'm glad I got it in the end.

I had a bit of luck with the beginning since I'm extremely mindblocked; I doubt I'd be able to re-AAA it anytime soon xP

Crowdpleaser... good times

For me I had 200+ plays on Eclipse before I AAA'd it for the first time.

However, in stepmania, Jackhammer Madness definitely took the most attempts. I played that file over 1,000 times total around the time, and the day I AAA'd it I probably played it around 500 times (most of the attempts stopped early when I missed in the beginning jacks).

900 plays of The Rhythm of Life, back in my low D1 days... :P (actually I was just trying to FC the thing, and I don't think I did)

Never did go back and AAA it though. I've been sitting at a BF on it for years.
