ROUND 1 HAS BEGUN! IT WILL END ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2008 AT ?? PM EST.

Um, hi. I thought that no one had done this, so I guess I would.

Genre Tournament

The basic setup for this tournament is that each genre will have a division, and you guys will fight to be number 1.

Some Q and A:

Can I be in more than one genre?
Sure you can.

Will we play every song?
I will pick 8 songs from each genre to play, so that equals 8 rounds. If you guys would like more, or less, please, speak up in this thread.

How long are rounds?
Rounds will probably last from 3-5 days, depending on my activity.

What are the prizes?
Well, I'm a bit short on credits, so for now, the prize stands on 7.5k as the total pot.

Can I donate?
The more the better. We'd all like a big prize, wouldn't we?

What about tiebreakers?
Well, what about them? If, at the end of a round, that there are people below and above elimination tying, there will be tiebreaker rounds which will be set by me.

How is the scoring set up?
The scoring is basically your PA, misses, averages, boos, all that jazz.

Example: Billy gets 1-0-1-0 500 Combo
Sarah gets 1-1-0-1 1000 combo

Sarah would win, because Billy did not FC the song.


Those are the basic rules, so yeah.

Green means that you have AAA'd the song, and will automatically be moving into the next round. Orange means that you are safe for now, but you can still get out. Purple means that you must do a tiebreaker, because you tied with someone under/over the line. Red means that you are in danger of being eliminated. Gray means that you are eliminated, and can not come back.

So, there's going to be divisions for each genre, excluding Skill token, Token, and Support. Secret and Purchased might happen, depending on if you guys want them.

There can be as many people in each "division" as wanted. There is no limit.


To submit a score:
Please take a screenshot of your score by pressing PrntScrn, or Alt + PrntScrn on your keyboard, pasting it into paint, and uploading it, using sites like imageshack, photobucket, xs.to, tinypic, etc. etc. Please do not use replays as submissions, as they still have avmisses, and are incorrect most of the time.

Good idea. Add Secret and Purchased, but make it a requirement to have all the songs in each in order to join. I have all the purchased songs and I currently have all the secret songs (though I really only have 95k or so, i have 102+k right now because of tourney donations but i probably will have 100k by the time you would pick Planet Karma)

So go ahead and put me in Secret and Purchased if you add them.

Also, a suggestion: there are assuredly going to be people in your tournament who can AAA every song in Dance, so for the final round or two you will probably need to do something extra like good-attack or boo-attack to give an extra challenge.
