1st Unofficial Stepfile Marathon
Hey guys, I came up with a good idea. How would you like a tournament, that has YOUR stepfiles in it? Pretty great, huh? Well this is my tournament's idea.
Stepmania Mod Restrictions:
Deleted mod restrictions.
Also, for noteskins, you may use whichever.
How it works:
I will open submissions for possible stepfiles in the tournament. You can make a stepfile by scratch, or submit a stepfile that you've previously made. I will be having 2-4 divisions for this tournament (beginner, intermediate, master, guru, etc). so I'll need 2-4 songs for each round. There will be 8 rounds, and the 8th is the final round between the top 2 of each division. This is kind of like the Official FFR Tournament, but YOUR stepfiles are in it! It's going to be great!
Stepfile Judging:
I will be personally judging stepfiles for this tournament, so no "bad" stepfiles will be in it. I want a variety of different types, so don't hesitate to step rock, pop, techno, you name it. I just want a good quality, and good music that the FFR users will like.
If your stepfile has been accepted, I will email you saying so. If it is rejected, sadly, there will be no email included. I'm hoping to do more of these tournaments, so hopefully you guys will have awesome stepfiles again for them. If yours is accepted, please allow 2-5 days before receiving an email, due to the fact that I am usually busy, but I have time to test, play, and judge your files.
Divisions:
Depending on the number of entrants, there will be 2-4 divisions, as shown:
Beginner
Tricky (possibly)
Advanced (possibly)
Guru
The two in the middle are put as "possibly", depending on the number of entrants, as stated above.
Rounds:
Rounds will have to be played VIA Stepmania, because I cannot get the files onto FFR for my tournament. I'm not important enough, and this is an unofficial tournament.
There will be 8 rounds in total. The 8th round is the Final round, in which the top 2 battle it out on the Final Song.
Choosing divisions:
The way I will be choosing divisions is by looking at AAA count, FC count, levelranks, partly average rank, and what songs you have AAA'd/FC'd. (In FFR).
DONATIONS:
I'm asking for some donations for this tournament, although I have 35k that I'll be using. Still donate though!
NOTE:
Submissions are until August 9th, 2008.

Signups will close on August 13th, 2008. They are open currently.
SONGS:
I WILL PROVIDE A LINK TO THE SONG ON THIS POST. It will be in a .ZIP folder, so make sure you have winzip.
