You read it- my first tournament. I have confidence it will be a success... if people sign up.
Tournament is OVER!
I believe the single most important aspect of a tournament is punctuality, along with frequent updates. I will make it my top priority to be on time with my deadlines and update as often as I can.
Songs will be chosen from the actual song difficulties V2 thread, and I will not participate in the tourney, just to prevent any chance of fixing, etc. I will donate 100 credits for every person who signs up, tallying the total when signups close... and donations from others are welcome as well.
Submissions may be entered by including a replay in PM or posting a screenshot on this thread. (Note that I must take the score on the replays, if that is what you submit, which as of now do not have the avmiss fix.)
Scoring will be what you would expect, being based on combo, then by PA. Further explained:
If all scores for a round are FC's, then the pre-total scores will be compared. Averages are equivalent to 5 goods in this way.
If some scores are FC's, and some are not, the FC's automatically score higher than the non-FC's, and the pre-total scores are compared among FC's and non-FC's separately. It sounds confusing but it's pretty intuitive.
There will be four categories:
Light (Difficulty 01-25)
Standard (Difficulty 21-45)
Advanced (Difficulty 41-65)
Expert (Difficulty 61-85)
So, all you have to do is post to sign up... and I believe that is everything... so have fun!
