Welcome to badman7772's legendary tournament of DARKNESS (DELUXE!)
Be sure to read this entire post before you sign up!
This tournament is a classic elimination tournament that is ran like any official tournament, but with a twist! You must use dark mod! While this may not be a big deal to some, others will have to adjust!
There will probably be 7 divisions! They are as follows!
D1: Novice
D2: Intermediate
D3: Advanced
D4: Expert
D5: Master
D6: Guru
D7: #imtoogoodtomoveup
If not enough people are in one division, I will move them up or down based on how close they are to a certain borderline.
We are using the official FFR engine! You are allowed to use the Legacy, Velocity, and R^3 engines! You are not allowed to use R^2 because it doesn't have dark mod in it. I won't stress this enough! You MUST use dark mod for this tournament!
In addition to the main event, every round will have a side event! (I KNOW YOU CALL THEM SPONCONS! THEY'RE NOT SPONTANEOUS ENOUGH!) In these events, you can INSTANTLY win credits! You must be in the tournament to play in these, and you must also be currently competing! This means if you're eliminated, you cannot participate!
Prizes will be given out to everyone that participates in the main event! Your participation prize is based on how far you get, and how many rounds you submit in! This means if you sign up and not submit a TRYING score, you will not get anything!
As of writing this thread, I sit at 512k credits and counting! I will accept any form of credit donation! Donors will be thanked so much, and will receive a hug! <3 (I will not hug you in this thread.) If you do decide to donate any credits to the pot, you will make the quality of the tournament THAT much better, meaning bigger participation prizes, bigger side event prizes, etc. I will give out main event prizes at it's conclusion. Doing this will help me calculate stuff based on the prize pot at that time.
Signups will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st at 11:59 PM, and I will kick it off on Thursday, January 23rd at 12 Midnight! This gives me one day for me to place everyone and make sure everything's good to go!
I am letting you guys tell me what time zone to use (Server or Eastern time) and how many days each round should be! If you want your opinion to be heard, let me know about each of these matters!

-Skill token songs MAY be picked. If you do not have the token, you must unlock it before you play.
-I can't believe nobody caught this. We're using RAW scoring. Should be logical at this point anyway.
-Only screen shots of your score will be accepted! No replays, or screenshots of replay results will count!
-Attempt to cheat at either event, and you will be DQ'd with NO prize! If you're caught, and/or a mod/admin notify's me that you're cheating, you're done.
-Excessive bitching about stuff in this thread will also DQ you! If you wanna complain, PM/IM me!

I'd like everyone to do me a huge favor when submitting scores. If you could all also punch in your raw score in addition to your screenshot, that'd be awesome. That way when I update, I can just simply copy/paste your score and updates can happen faster.
You must use dark mod for this tournament! If you submit a score that has no proof of using dark mod, your score will NOT count! Be sure you have dark on before you even start!
All side events that aren't FFR related require your login stuff in the top right hand corner of the page. Have that somewhere with your screenshot of whatever the event it, or I won't count it.

Last but not least, have fun! Failure to do so may result in your FFR license being revoked. Then again, that's where making a new account always comes in.
