This is just an idea.
I have noticed how there are a lot of Color teams and tourneys for them going on. I think the idea is cool but if you are going to verse each other certain teams will dominate. My idea is so it makes it more fair and interesting but you still keep the color team idea.
Basically you have a bunch of people sign up for this tourney. There will be team captains. They can be people who are helping out with the tourney or they can be the best players playing in the tourney or some other way can be done to decide who is captain. They will then pick players from the sign ups until there are no more players. Team picking will be fair and they will take turns picking players.
There will be beginner, intermediate, advanced, master, and expert stages or some form of that (depending on how many people join). There will be a certain amount of spots open for team members. To get a spot, players in the same difficulty on the same team will face each other for position. Those who get a spot then will face the other colored teams for the title of best team. Team captains help decide who gets these spots.
There can be other tourneys in this too such as mash tourneys, doubles tourneys and connect four tourney. If you make a spot in one of the tourneys you cannot get a spot in another one so more people can play and compete.
It is kind of like an ffr Olympics. There will be prizes such as credits and maybe other stuff if people want to donate or help with it. This is just an idea so please tell me what you think. I know it would be a lot of work but its seems fun and interesting. This is just a basic outline of what it will be so any suggestions or helpers would be awesome. Thanks
