Alright. With the spike of interest in the joining of clans, I figured it would be a good idea to give the general community an attempt at actually picking more than simply two teams. With this being said, I've decided to open tryouts for Team Chaos, and this will be the only time that I will allow a tryout to be conducted this way.

Tryouts are NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR INCLUSION TO TC. However--with TC_llama planning a few team on team events, there will be 2 sub-teams within Team Chaos itself. One team is a non-competitive team. They are allowed to hold the TC name, but when it comes to clan on clan tournaments, you will not be able to participate until your skill goes up within each division. The other team is a competitive team. In the case of competitions involving one or more teams, they get to represent the TC name in tournaments, and participate in inter-clan events as well. To be in the competitive team, you must schedule a tryout with me or TC_llama so we can decide where we would like to put you if you do make the competitive team.

Additional Rules and Advice for Team Chaos Applicants

1. Songs will be decided in accordance to your respective skill level. Tryouts will now consist of four songs--two chosen by us, two chosen by you. Do not stray too far from the difficulty levels that we have assigned to you based on looking at your stats.

2. Challenge yourself! If you are trying out for a spot in the novice division and we're giving you songs that are 5-6 in difficulty, but think you can handle your own on 7s/8s, then do it! The more you can impress us in your division, the better chance you have of getting where you need to be.

3. No matter what song you've chosen, make sure the score is an FC. (Of course, based on difficulty, PA, and cleanliness, we may admit you conditionally if you get a miss on the song. There are many factors taken into consideration, and they all factor into the final judgment.)

4. Keep your score relatively clean. Messy/mashed scores will not be tolerated if you are trying to represent this team.

5. You are expected to have good to excellent PA on the songs that we give you if you are again trying out for this competitive division.

6. If you get rejected, don't take it out on us. We're not biased against any individual unless they have shown utter disrespect to a clan recruiter, judge, or other member. Team Chaos will not tolerate this sort of behavior. This is your only warning.

7. Try to stay calm when trying out in general, be it in the MP room, or on your own. Yes, there's always inherent pressure when trying out for any team or group, but as far as I can tell, tryouts will be open for a good while to come.

8. Remember, you are not barred from multiple tryouts unless you:
a) Post a hacked/cheated score.
b) Threaten and/or bribe any team member to attempt to gain entry into Team Chaos.
c) Flame any judge or recruiter for their rejection of you as a team member.

Note that any of these offenses will be reported to a forum moderator, leading to a possible IP ban, blacklisting, or other punishment as the administration sees fit.

TC has been around for years but we normally hold the tryouts in MP, but seeing all the attention from the other "teams" it inspired us (aka Halogen) to open tryouts in the forums

Well, I at least want TC and TB to form an alliance.

This is something I've wanted to do for a while--but I've been browsing threads, and for some reason, clans weren't popular, and were frowned upon. But when I seen the TR and TB threads get some serious attention, I thought it would be a good idea for me to throw TC out there too. Besides, more teams, more people, more rivalries, and more organized events. Hell, I wouldn't mind coordinating events from us three teams.

No freebies--get the patience to load a song. I'm able to sit five to fifteen minutes to load one song because of dial-up (TWO MORE DAYS, DAMN IT), you can sit for 15 seconds to play a two minute song and try your luck.
