Follow the extended scoreboards with the Grand Total Tracker!

That's right we're bringing it back. I've heard you guys loud and clear in wanting another one of these.

If there's anyone who doesn't know what a gamewhore competition is, basically you're going to devote a full day of your life to smashing keys to get the most grandtotal in one day. The top three gamewhores will win a prize.

Signups

Technically you don't have to sign up since all you have do to is start playing that day, but I think it would be fun if those who are planning on participating would post here so we can watch your progress and root you guys on over the course of that day.

Start/End time

You're going to want to get your sleep on Friday the 16th because the competition starts when the server resets at midnight on the 17th. You will have all day to whore until the clock hits 11:59pm. We will then look at the top grand totals on the daily stats page to see who our winners are.

Prizes

The tokens to choose from are: Tell V3, Coactive (Over my shoulder mix), Freedom Dive and The Wisest Were Wrong

1st place - Your choice of three tokens and 200,000 credits.
2nd place - Your choice of two token and 175,000 credits.
3rd place - Your choice of one token and 150,000 credits.
4th place - 100,000 credits.
5th place - 50,000 credits.

Everyone in the top 10 get a shiny gamewhore profile badge.

*If you obtain enough points to unlock VROFL or Dendrite V2 you will have those unlocked for you as well.

The token prizes look a little confusing as of right now, do you get one of each token in those sets or is it out of four? Prize for second implies the first, but that it just seems a little jumbled as of right now. Other than that, nice to have an event like this I won't be participating, but I know that a lot of people will want to. I wish you all luck

It's any two out of the four. Dendrite is left out because chances are anyone that hits top 3 is going to have enough points to unlock it anyway haha.

Edit: Fixed the OP up so the prizes were more clear.

Yeah, that's true xD Change second prize to one of the four tokens listed above then? Unless you're not including Wisest/FD for second place, of course.

Gamewhore competitions were freakin so much fun... got DQ'd last time for cheating though by having someone else playing with me. Lessons learned.

By the way, in the past the gamewhore competitions were basically a race to get the lowest Average Rank in 24hrs (hence the creation of GC_(username) profiles, specifically for the competition), I take it this is different as you're going for more grand total for the day?

This is whoring for grandtotal, just as it says. I don't want to make people create other accounts and lose all those points they whored for all day.

It's noted on the FPP that VROFL will be disabled for the day.

It isn't. In the front page post it is said vROFL will be disabled on the day of the game whore competition.

It'll be interesting to see how people do in this. I'm definitely not competing (my hands hurt enough after 2 hours thank you) but I will probably check up on it a few times throughout the day.

Actually, I am pretty sure this was only one of the gamewhore competitions, and the rest were daily stats related. It was a fun one though.
