Quick question: what settings do you all use to keep Stepmania running at 60 fps while streaming? I've followed the "help" section and lowered the quality of the stream without making it too fuzzy, but I still run a constant 45-50 fps while playing.

I use Open Broadcasting Software. PrawnSkink was actually helping me- he said my bitrate was too high (I had 1200). I lowered it quite a bit, hopefully that'll help a lot.

I try not to have a lot of background stuff running - I've found exiting out of a lot of programs only helps a little.

What I've found is that it's not the amount of background processes you're running, but rather which ones you're running. Not saying you are definitely running a hog in the background, but that's been my issue before.

Let me know if lowering the bitrate works for you in OBS... I have issues streaming with OBS because of lag, so I can't give you a whole lot of help unfortunately (and I'm kind of curious if that would help my problems with it too)
