Not going to bother posting when I update this anymore, to avoid unnecessary post whoring. Glad to see so many people making use of it though. I noticed the suggestion on the front page of the thread to link to live streams, or something like that, and I definitely agree. I'll be looking into that some more and seeing if any of the Devs would be willing to perhaps help me look into seeing if that's do-able on the site. I have a few ideas.

imo if a feature like that gets implemented,

it should be more for "established streamers" (maybe having a certain criteria, etc.), rather than just letting anyone put their link and being able to stream via the front page

I like that actually, so it's not just someone putting up a stream when they don't have the upload rate and or the hardware capable to an okay stream.

I think too there should be way to tell if said person is streaming at the moment or not. If this idea gets implemented at all anyways.

I'm still very supportive of this. Would give some incentive to entertain some people on here. Be it mesmerizing people with your 1337 H@x skeels on any rhythm game (Looking at you amazing SM players, holy crud, please don't stop streaming your stuff, haha.), or just playing some games casually with maybe some commentary and chatting to the audience so it doesn't get too boring to watch. (This is my preferred method because I can't be a god at a rhythm game. =C)

I do agree, don't worry. Even the idea or two I had involved having someone manage the list of streams that could go up, or criteria like you said, so that we don't have someone streaming their roommate having sex or something. (obviously site ban rules would apply to any user linking their stream to the site, thus making them responsible for whatever they play. Language would probably be one of the few exceptions, because what fun is raging in a stream when it's going to get you banned?)

Like I said, I'll try talking to a few of the devs and see what their thoughts on it are.

This is the biggest thing that people do when they have no viewers or they had some but then they go away. It's one of the biggest challenges when streaming since you come to a wall that says. "Keep streaming while doing/playing other things?" or... "Just stop it and do other thing?"

Getting bored though is another thing, haha. No reason to keep streaming if you're getting bored with talking and just want to concentrate on the game/thing you're doing.
