i dont think practice can help any1 do better in something like FOTBB...i mean, either u're able to move ur fingers freakishly fast or ur normal like the rest of us.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

my fingers physically cannot move that fast, and will never be able to. i can pass it, and with a better score than the guy who posted this topic, but i will never be able to FC it or get a 50 combo even. if my fingers could move that fast, it would be really easy, i'm just not able to. and even if i was, my keyboard and/or FFR wouldnt register it half the time. like, in Party 4U, when there are 3 jumps in a row really fast. i always hit them at the same speed, but all 6 hits have only ever been registered once. it's just not possible. not for me, at least. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

I thought that too, evilbutterfly.
Just keep working at it, trust me. It takes time. I've only been playing SM for about 5 months. At first, I couldn't even pass Legend of Max.
Now I can AA it with less then 10 greats everytime. How? I just played songs I couldn't pass over and over again until I finally did it.
And then I got insanely good at them.. stuff like that.
So just keep playing.

well, then i could see the songs and i knew i could do it with practice, but the ones on FFR are not possible for me. as it is now, i can do all u said and more, plus i'm getting better on foot. i could probably AAA most of the official songs if i really wanted to, but i dont have the time to play them over and over til i do. but the FFR songs i know i will never be able to do. i'm a realist, and really, there's no way.Originally posted by eVILPeeRI thought that too, evilbutterfly.

i'd rather not be disapppointed years later when i still cant do it. when i DO try and play 1 song over and over til i get a AAA i get frustrated and mad at myself for missing the mark by like, 1 or 2 greats, then i'm angry and do worse and worse til i get a B, then i'm just so mad. thats why i dont care too much about score now. as long as i can pass the FFR songs i know i'm one of the best players. every1 who has seen me do it is like "whoa! YOUR AWESOME!" and i try and tell them how much i suck, but oh well. at least locally i rock
