How fast can you type?

I'm interested if FFR and SM make you a faster typer... you can also brag about your score

I got 355 characters on my seconds try, 2 mistakes.

Edit: 180+ characters per minute is considered "fast"

but this seems kinda lame. all the words are like everyday words
i like the tests that actually have unique sentences to truly judge your typing speed

And I'd have found sentences to be easier to do than the random disconnected words.

Also, your WPM is how many words you typed correctly in that time, not how many words you typed. If you assume the ability to proofread your writing afterwards, to correct small errors, your WPM is higher than the program says.

Edit: I'm averaging about 100-105 words typed during the test, with somewhere between 3-6 errors bringing their listed number down to about 96-98 average.

I wasn't getting it at first (for some reason) so I only got 371 characters first try.

EDIT: 2nd try 0 mistake 425 (77 WPM)

EDIT: 3rd try 0 mistake 442 (82 WPM)

EDIT: (X) try 0 mistake 455 (77 WPM) <--- some words are much longer than others.
