A song in 4/4 time goes 1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and (when it's broken down into 8th notes.)

"Offbeat" means that the notes are intentionally on the "and"s instead of on the beats. Play the Standard steps for Rhythm and Police, and you'll see what I mean.

"Offsync" means the BPM/gap is wrong.

      k, 4th with a FC now.

      I'm satisfied.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

I did the up down up downs with one finger. o_O

It's a lot easier than doing it with two.

We're not talking about the actual song's time signature. We're talking about the steps.

The steps are offsync, yes. But there can be offbeat steps. These aren't. They're offsync.

They can both be considered errors.

Offbeat means changes to BPM that aren't with the song, intentional or not.
Offsync means changes to Gap that aren't with the song, intentional or not.

i think its a good stepfile... just not for ffr... so many people dont take the time to stop and think what patterns are good for ffr and which arent *cough arch cough*... jackhammers seriously dont belong on ffr in my opinion , they just dont work out great. as for the 32nds? whats with that... anyways its a good file freak , just not for ffr. synth, to fix the problem , take the DWI , highlight the whole song , take the gap out , find where the first note belongs , and then shift it up 1 32nd note , that should fix everything up nicely.

Erm I used no GAP to create it because I know FFR doesn't support it.
